Toyota is out to prove that its vehicles don’t have to be boring, mundane commuter cars.

Showcased at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Toyota brought out five modified vehicles filled to the brim with TRD accessories. The quintet is comprised of a SEMA Edition TRD Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Highlander and Land Cruise, all of which have been finished in special edition Silver Pearl paint on the exterior. Inside, each of the vehicles have received custom TRD embroidery.

Changing the look on all the vehicles except the Land Cruiser is a front chin spoiler, aero-inspired rocker panels and rear-end diffuser treatment. From there, each vehicle received other modifications that fit their style, like the Avalon getting a 1.5-inch lowering kit and bronze 19×9-inch TRD wheels wrapped with 255/35/19 tires.

The Camry seen above shows that the best-selling car in America for the last 13 years can be fun to drive as well. Lowered one inch in the front and 1.5 inches in the rear, massive 21×9.5-inch TRD wheels have been bolted on each corner paired with 255/35/21 rubber.

Then there’s the TRD Corolla that had its CVT tossed out for a TRD six-speed manual transmission. Performance has been enhanced with a TRD exhaust system while 19×9-inch TRD wheels are wrapped with 255/30/19 tires.

Toyota then showcased the possibilities with its crossover and SUV models, bringing out a custom Highlander and Land Cruiser to SEMA. The Highlander received the most significant interior upgrades of any of the concepts while 20×10-inch bronze TRD performance wheels roll on 285/35/20 tires.

Lastly, the Land Cruiser has seen its front end raised two inches for additional ground clearance and to help fit the 20×10-inch wheels in the front and the rear. Additional exterior upgrades include a TRD brush guard with LED driving lights, a TRD performance off-road air snorkel, bronze-colored TRD tubular running boards and a roof-mounted cargo pod.

Toyota’s willingness to push TRD at this year’s SEMA Show comes as no surprise, considering competitors in the marketplace are looking to further focus on performance. Nissan has put a bigger emphasis on developing NISMO products while Hyundai recently announced its N performance sub-brand.
