SEMA is often considered the playground for automotive enthusiasts, where car builders and automakers let their imaginations run wild.

Toyota is showing off the possibilities with its Tacoma and RAV4 models with two customized variants that will undoubtedly garner plenty of attention on the Las Vegas Convention Center’s show floor next week. The Japanese automaker teamed up with DC Shoes and LifeTime Fitness to create a one-of-a-kind Tacoma and RAV4, both of which feature themes of their own.

For the DC Shoes Toyota Tacoma, the team asked the footwear company’s fans to select a snow, motocross or skateboarding design for the ultimate sports Tacoma. The result is a wintery Tacoma that’s ready to take on the snow. Camburg Engineering helped bring the Tacoma concept to life, which features a powerful front snowplow and a telescoping ramp to drive a snowmobile onto the truck bed. If that wasn’t enough, the Tacoma can store multiple snowboards and features a pop-up tent that sits on the roof and can be accessed through a ladder.

As for the LifeTime Fitness RAV4, the fitness company teamed up with Team Toyota triathletes Sarah Haskins, Andy Potts and Hunter Kemper to create a vehicle that not only soothe tire athletes, but also provide training intelligence. With the aid of The Motorsports Technical Center in California, the custom RAV4 now sports a hot water shower with a five-gallon fresh water tank, a spin dryer and gear storage compartments in the rear cargo area. The athletes can also enjoy a shiatsu massage in the front seat while going over race statistics and tracking data through an integrated iPad. In the rear, the RAV4 features a fridge while a Blendtec blender and a cupboard full of snacks are easily accessible. On top of the RAV4 is a custom roof rack that can keep a pair of bikes secure.

Check back next week when AutoGuide reports live from the 2013 SEMA Show for live photos of these creations.
