2017 Subaru Impreza Teased Before Late March Debut

A redesigned Subaru Impreza will launch at the end of March at the New York Auto Show and the brand has released a teaser photo.
The Impreza has undergone a full redesign inside and out and now sits on the new Subaru Global Platform, a scalable architecture that will soon underpin the entire Subaru lineup. The 2017 Impreza will be the first Subaru vehicle built on the new platform.
The platform has been made between 70 and 100 percent stiffer and the center of gravity has been lowered while noise, vibration and harshness are said to be vastly improved. For safety, the new platform absorbs impacts better by 40 percent compared to current models.

Of course, the new Impreza will still have a boxer engine and all-wheel drive. Both the sedan and the hatchback will be unveiled on March 23. Check back to AutoGuide.com for live coverage from the New York Auto Show.

No need for Subaru to tease anything anymore, we are all just waiting for the watered down results of the concept.
