Lincoln is previewing its next-generation Navigator at the 2016 New York Auto Show.

The 2018 Lincoln Navigator Concept actually looks nearly production ready, except it features power gullwing doors, like what you would expect to see on an exotic sports car. Regardless, the full-size SUV concept is inspired by luxury sailboats and yachts, getting a Storm Blue paint finish that is meant to mimic the greys and blues of sea and sky. There’s also plenty of luxury inside the large cabin with teak finishes, custom gear and a wardrobe management system.

The concept is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers over 400 horsepower, said Lincoln. The inside also boasts the nameplate’s most spacious interior yet featuring six Lincoln-patented Perfect Position seats that are 30-way adjustable.

To go along with the gullwing doors are a set of concertina steps that greet passengers as they step into the cabin. Advanced safety features on the concept include pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, a 360-degree camera, enhanced park assist and a lane-keeping system that vibrates the steering wheel to alert drivers when they stray from their lane.
