The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera has been spied beginning testing at the Nurburgring.

The latest prototype for the hotter Huracan variant may not look all that different, but one thing really stands out and that’s on the rear of the supercar. Although you can clearly see the four exhaust tips found on the standard Huracan, the Italian automaker has added a grille of sorts to conceal the true placement of the exotic’s exhaust, which is being moved up compared to the standard model.

It’s interesting how Lamborghini chose this approach, since instead of concealing the new exhaust setup, it’s actually drawing even more attention to it.

The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera is expected to make its public debut sometime this year and you can expect to see a front spoiler and fixed rear wing added prior to its unveiling. The focus of the Huracan Superleggera will be to save weight while adding aerodynamic downforce so it’s more potent on the race track.
