2017 Porsche Panamera Photo Leaks, Reveals Less Awkward Design
A photo claiming to show the redesigned Porsche Panamera has been leaked online ahead of its official debut.
The car is only slightly revised in the design department, though the changes do enough to give the Panamera more of a classic sedan look. The lines are more direct and the slightly bulbous and awkward look of today’s Panamera seems to have been eliminated. The real story for this new car, however, is under the skin.
The Panamera will now ride on an all-new modular architecture that will help it lose weight and be more fuel efficient. The new platform will also bring the flexibility to add a fully electric and plug-in hybrid model sometime in the near future.

A new shooting brake/wagon model is also expected to join the lineup to help further expand the Panamera’s appeal to a larger audience.
Inside, a simplified cabin with far fewer buttons is expected, while a new larger center touchscreen has been added.
The new Panamera will go on sale in the U.S. in 2017, while it will European markets first, just after its debut in September of 2016.
