Audi has announced a recall affecting older models of the A8 and S8 sedans.

The recall affects the 2007-2009 Audi A8 and S8 models and involves 536 units in the US. According to the German automaker, the sunroof glass could detach while the vehicle is in motion.

Audi has received an unspecified number of “field complaints” about the problem and it is currently unknown if any injuries or accidents are linked to the recall.

“If the glass detaches from the sunroof frame, it could become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash,” NHTSA said in its recall summary.

The company’s dealerships will install additional adhesive between the sunroof glass and frame to resolve the issue and the recall is expected to begin sometime in July.
