Off-road truck enthusiasts are in for a treat at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show.

Nissan is following up on its 2016 SEMA Show project with another modified Titan XD making its debut this week. The new Motorsports Titan XD will be on display from February 11 to 20, 2017, at Chicago’s McCormick Place and features an array of Nissan Genuine Parts and Accessories. The automaker also teamed up with some aftermarket manufacturers as well as using a series of prototype components on the project.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics lends a helping hand with its suspension system, while Rigid Industries outfits the Titan XD Pro-4X with a front grille featuring a camera mount and light bars. N-Fab contributed with the front bumper and rock rails and EGR gave the Titan its fender flares and sport bar. Method wheels wrapped with Hankook tires round off the aftermarket modifications.

Digging into the Genuine Nissan Parts and Accessories bin, the automaker pulled out a polished exhaust tip from the Platinum Edition model, a tailgate guard, rear bumper step, bed extender and bed divider. Under the hood is the Cummins 5.0-liter V8 Turbo Diesel engine sporting 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

“The TITAN XD, with its available Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel engine, is a powerful platform that calls out for customization,” said Fred Diaz, division vice president and general manager, North America Trucks and Light Commercial Vehicles, Nissan North America, Inc. “We’re pleased to offer TITAN XD owners so many ways to personalize their vehicles and also excited more and more companies are supporting TITAN with aftermarket parts and accessories.”
