Audi’s new high-performance wagon was spied prowling on public streets near the Nurburgring.

This isn’t the first time spy photographers have caught the next Audi RS4 Avant testing, but unfortunately it’s still heavily camouflaged. Still, we can make out the wider fenders and more aggressive front end styling for the hot wagon. In the rear there’s a spoiler and diffuser contributing to its sporty styling.

Expect the new Audi RS4 to feature the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that debuted in the new Porsche Panamera. Power output should be the same at 450 horsepower, but it will have over 100 more pound-feet of torque.

Look for the 2018 Audi RS4 Avant to debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show before it heads to European dealerships before the end of the year. Hopefully we’ll hear more on whether Audi intends on bringing it to the U.S. then.
