The 2017 Formula One season is going to be a fast flashing kaleidoscope of color.

After McLaren’s surprise return to orange and Toro Rosso’s switch to blue, Sahara Force India just unveiled a new pink paint job after signing a new sponsorship agreement.

Along with a change in regulations and significantly wider tires, the new liveries join the red Ferraris, yellow Renaults, silver and turquoise Mercedes, purple Red Bulls, and the Williams in white; splashing the once staid Formula 1 grid with even more vibrancy two weeks ahead of the 2017 season opener in Australia.

The team tested over the last few weeks in its traditional black and silver livery with orange and green accents but happily traded for the corporate colors of Austrian water technology specialists BWT.

“The arrival of BWT in Formula One is huge news and represents one of the most significant partnerships in our ten year history,” said Team Principal and Managing Director Dr Vijay Mallya in a statement. “Changing the colour of our cars is an indication of the strength of this new partnership and a real statement of intent from BWT as they begin their relationship with the sport of Formula One.”

Force India have also confirmed that drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon will wear complimenting pink helmets.

aw yeah, such a great idea for ratings. Look at how wearing pink has helped the NFL. Nico Rosberg looks like the most intelligent driver in F1 because he quit right before F1 went down the drain.
