Ram has announced a new color option for its luxurious Laramie Longhorn that will make those with RV trailers happy.

The color, called RV Match Brown, is a new two-tone contrast chosen specially to compliment a shade of brown which is commonly used on large travel trailers, including premium fifth-wheel trailers.

The second shade in the two-tone combination is one of eight different hues: Black Forest Green, Bright Silver, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Maximum Steel, Pearl White and True Blue.

White Gold is replaced by RV Match Brown, which will be available on all Longhorn Laramie pickups, from 1500 up to 3500.

2500 and 3500 models (single rear wheels) come with new 18-inch aluminum wheels with brown-colored pockets, while 3500 dually models get polished silver aluminum wheels come standard with Laramie Longhorn Edition center caps.

The standard engine in those HD models is the 6.4-liter HEMI V8, delivering up to 16,320 pounds of tow capacity when the truck is properly equipped. Of course, the trucks also offer the large 6.7-liter Cummins diesel, allowing for a tow rating of more than 30,000 pounds, certainly overkill for most travel trailers.

As for the 1500 Laramie Longhorn half-ton, the truck gets plenty of chrome accents, painted bumpers and tow hooks, brown-accented 20-inch wheels and lots of chrome metal Laramie Longhorn edition badges to set it apart.

Ram RV Match Brown models will be hitting in the second quarter of 2017, so they should be showing up anytime.
