Mercedes-AMG is working on giving the high-performance C63 a mid-cycle refresh.

The entire C-Class lineup is getting a facelift and this time our spy photographers have caught the C63 testing on public roads. With the front grille covered up, we can’t help but wonder if AMG will be giving the C63 the same Panamericana grille found on the new GLC63 and GLC63 Coupe models and originally seen on the Mercedes-AMG GT. What is obvious is the front bumper will see some modest changes, with a new design for the air intakes. The headlights will also be new, although the current units are still seen on this prototype. Expect minor changes in the rear, with a slightly redesigned bumper.

Although spy photographers haven’t managed to take photos of the interior, there should be some changes inside the cabin including a new touchpad and an updated cluster and infotainment system. No word yet on whether AMG will give the C63 AMG more power, but given how it has been handling the rest of its lineup, we wouldn’t rule it out.
