A production version of the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante has been spied testing.

First shown as a concept last year, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante will be limited to just 99 units and will be priced from at least $850,000. Deliveries are expected to begin in October, and judging by the latest prototype caught testing on the Nurburgring, the British automaker is right on schedule. Wearing no camouflage at all, the convertible version of the Vanquish Zagato is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine with 592 horsepower. Aston Martin says the convertible will go zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

The collaboration with Italian designer and coachbuilder Zagato was originally supposed to be just a concept. Overwhelming feedback and demand, however, pushed Aston Martin to produce the Zagato version of the Vanquish, which resulted in a very limited number of both coupe and convertible units for consumers.
