ThE NEW Mercedes-AMG A45 has been spied testing once again – but it won’t be coming to North America.

North America is rumored to be getting the new Mercedes A-Class sedan, however, and these spy photos give us a good idea of what to expect when the traditional four-door model debuts. The Mercedes-AMG A45 also offers a glimpse into the next-generation CLA and GLA models, which all share the same platform.

This isn’t the first time spy photographers have caught the new A45 testing, but this is the first time the car has been spotted wearing AMG’s Panamericana grille.

The prototype sits surprisingly closer to the ground while wearing wider wheels on all four corners compared to a standard A-Class model. There’s also larger air intakes currently hidden on the front bumper. And although in the rear we currently only see a dual exhaust coming out the rear, it will have more of a quad-tip appearance once the exhaust finishers are installed.

Look for the new Mercedes-AMG A45, sporting a 400-horsepower four-cylinder engine to arrive dealerships in Europe late 2018.
