New spy photos have given us our first good look at the new 911’s cabin.

The next-generation Porsche 911 is expected to arrive as a 2019 model year and spy photographers managed to capture photos of the interior, which will take cues from the Panamera. There’s a greater use of LCD screens compared to the existing model, with the center stack topped by a large widescreen display. It is likely the same 12.3-inch unit found in the new Panamera, although that can’t be confirmed just yet.

Drivers will get to enjoy two configurable LCD displays serving as the instrument cluster, while the center-mounted tachometer will be the only analog instrument that remains. In addition, it appears the steering wheel will get new controls for the infotainment. This particular prototype also appears to have Porsche’s Sport Chrono driving mode dial, which can be seen on the lower right of the wheel.

As you can tell by the spy photos, Porsche’s engineer isn’t exactly thrilled spy photographers manage to capture the prototype on camera. His laptop blocked the rest of the center stack, so it’s difficult to see the rest of the interior, but it does appear it will be an overall cleaner cockpit like the new Panamera.
