Roush has begun teasing its 2018 Ford Mustang project.

The company is welcoming the next-generation Mustang to its portfolio, releasing a couple videos of the project car it is working on. Although Roush is keeping details on the 2018 Ford Mustang light, it will likely made its debut at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas late October. The teaser image features a “2” badge, suggesting it’s a Roush Stage 2 (RS2) package for the Mustang GT. Like the current Roush RS2, the 2018 Ford Mustang will get new aero components and suspension tweaks, some of which are shown in the videos below.

Expect to see a nice boost in performance, as Roush is known for taking advantage of the Mustang’s powertrain. And there’s likely plenty more coming from other aftermarket tuners that are now getting their hands on the 2018 Ford Mustang and we should see those projects in Vegas later this month.
