The debut of the Lamborghini Urus SUV is just around the corner, and Lambo is hyping up the unveiling with a new teaser video.

Luckily, this isn’t some video showing small portions of the vehicle before closing out with a debut date. As far as teasers go, this one is very good. It shows the Urus shredding up a desert in Sabbia mode (Italian for sand), proving the successor to the aptly named LM002 Rambo Lambo will be just as comfortable off-road as it will be at the Nurburgring.

The Urus will be powered by a 650-horsepower 4.0-liter V8 and will feature all-wheel drive, of course. The gas-only version will arrive first, followed by a plug-in hybrid at a later date. It will arrive in the U.S. in the third quarter of next year with a price tag under $200,000. The automaker plans on building 1,000 of them in the first model year before ramping up production to around 3,500 units per year in 2019.

The Lamborghini Urus will debut on December 4, so stay tuned for information. In the meantime, watch it rip through the desert like nobody’s business in the video above.

not bad for 315 section width street tires; looked like fun..."Anima" - mind or soul...6 different surface selections - Road, Sport, Course, Sand, Earth, and Glacier; if only all cars could be that diverse.

They tried to make it look like a sports car. It;s not but it is a complete ugly disaster.
