The $3 million Bugatti Chiron has been recalled for an issue related to the seat brackets.

According to the Volkswagen Group brand, certain examples of the near-1,500 horsepower hypercar may have faulty seat recliner bracket welds. If a faulty weld is found, Bugatti technicians will replace the complete seating assembly. About 47 vehicles worldwide are affected, including 12 in North America.

According to Automotive News Europe, Bugatti has sent recall notices to owners and has also contacted them by phone to explain the recall. The automaker will personally retrieve the vehicles from owner’s homes and transport them in an enclosed carrier to the nearest service center where the vehicles will be inspected and repaired if necessary.
