The 2019 Mercedes-Benz V-Class van has been spied testing a facelift.

Known as the Mercedes-Benz Metris in North America, spy photographers have caught a prototype testing a new front end. As you can tell by the light camouflage covering the van, there aren’t any significant changes heading to the V-Class. But do expect a new front bumper, headlights, and grille.

Interestingly this particular prototype doesn’t have any camouflage in the rear, so the changes might be minimal. We might see new tail lights when the final version makes an appearance, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Mercedes doesn’t change anything at all.

It’s the first makeover for the V-Class in its lifecycle, which explains why there aren’t any major changes being done. Do expect updates inside the cabin, with the possibility that Mercedes couldn incorporate its new MBUX infotainment system.

The Mercedes-Benz Metris was first introduced in America for the 2016 model year.
