The Japanese automaker has confirmed its best-selling sedan will debut on March 28, and Nissan says it chose New York because the Northeast region is the most popular market for the Altima. The next-generation model has been caught on camera by spy photographers and it appears it will be more stylish, with a bit of a fastback design to its body. Although unconfirmed, it also looks like the Altima’s wheelbase has been lengthened to offer more interior space for passengers.
Based on the spy photos we’ve seen, expect the new Altima to feature a front end that resembles the VMotion 2.0 Concept, which debuted at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The cabin will see some changes as well, with the center console benefiting from a larger infotainment screen.
