The Slightly Refreshed 2019 Mazda CX-3 Gets a Higher Starting Price

Set to arrive dealerships later this month, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is priced from $21,365 including destination.

That marks a $315 increase compared to the outgoing model, but the entry-level CX-3 Sport comes standard with new direct tire pressure monitoring system and blind spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert, fabric-upholstered seats, power windows, power remote door locks, power mirrors, push-button start, two USB ports, 16-inch alloy wheels, rearview camera, and Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio pairing. The standard Mazda Connect infotainment system features a seven-inch color display that can be controlled through voice commands or the multi-function Commander control knob.

There’s a new Sport i-ActivSense Package, which adds the Japanese automaker’s full suite of safety technologies for $1,100. The package includes advanced smart city brake support with pedestrian detection, smart brake support, Mazda radar cruise control with stop & go function, lane departure warning, high beam control, adaptive front-lighting system, active driving display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic climate control, automatic on/off LED headlights, and LED combination tail lights.

The mid-level CX-3 Touring model is priced from $23,450 and adds 18-inch wheels and Mazda advanced keyless entry, heated side mirrors, automatic on/off LED headlights, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and new piano black pillar accents. Inside, the CX-3 Touring features black leatherette seating surfaces with three-level heating adjustments for the front seats. The Touring model also offers the i-ActivSense Package at a cost of $1,000, as well as a Touring Preferred Equipment Package for $1,410. The Touring Preferred Equipment Package adds a Bose seven-speaker premium sound system, power glass moonroof, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, and a cargo cover.

At the top of the range is the CX-3 Grand Touring, with a starting price of $26,720. The model includes Parchment or black full-leather seating surfaces with high-gloss, pleated piping. There are also chrome accents on the front bumper and side sills, as well as the design of the LED combination tail lights. The Grand Touring model comes with an Active Driving Display head-up unit, power moonroof, adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, LED daytime running lights, Mazda Navigation, and paddle shifters.

Topping off the Grand Touring model is the available Premium Package for $710. It includes six-way power driver’s seat, power driver’s lumbar support, two-position driver memory system, heated steering wheel, traffic sign recognition, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

All 2019 Mazda CX-3 models are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 148 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive standard. All-wheel drive is available on every trim level for $1,400 additional.
