A prototype for the updated Lamborghini Huracan has been scooped by a user of our Lamborghini forum, Lamborghini Talk.

The user says the photos were sent to them by a source. They show a Huracan Spyder with a completely redesigned rear fascia, along with a small spoiler, new y-spoke alloy wheels and a restyled front fascia. Interior photos were also included in the post, revealing the mid-engine V10 supercar will receive the tablet-style touchscreen from the Lamborghini Centenario. The infotainment upgrade is much-needed, with the current Huracan lacking a centrally-mounted touchscreen entirely.

Mechanical updates should be in store for the 2019 Huracan as well. While nothing has been confirmed, the supercar could receive the rear-wheel steering system from the Aventador S. We wouldn’t be surprised if Lamborghini made small enhancements to the 5.2-liter V10, all-wheel-drive system and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission either. The current AWD Huracan makes 601 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque from its 5.2-liter engine, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint of 2.5s and a top speed of 199 mph.

The updated Lamborghini Huracan and Huracan Spyder should debut sometime in 2019 as 2020 model year vehicles.
