An Italian startup released new images of its sleek, North American-Bound EV sedan.

Ahera, an EV startup you’ve probably never heard of, has two models in the pipeline. No doubt reminiscent of Italian supercars, the outrageously sleek and stylish sedan promises similarly outrageous performance, without impeding practicality.

The Ahera EV Sedan is sleek, almost like a four-door version of any modern Lamborghini. It has butterfly doors front and back, and the rear opens in reverse. The Ahera EV looks ready to pounce. Aside from four captain’s chairs, we can’t see much of the interior. Hopefully, the production model will include a rear bench seat option, so the car can seat five people.

The exact power for the Ahera EV sedan hasn’t been revealed, but the brand is targeting a top speed of 164 MPH. Ahera wants the EV sedan to go 490 miles on a single charge from its 120 kWh NMC battery. That would make the Ahera EV one of the longest-range EVs on sale, only a few miles short of the range queen Lucid Air. According to Ahera, the battery manufacturer contract has already been secured.

However, Ahera hasn’t secured a manufacturer for its sedan and SUV. It may opt for a contract build position, enlisting Magna to produce the vehicles. Or, it could buy or build a factory suitable. Whichever the case, Ahera will announce its decision before the end of the year. It plans to get vehicles in production by 2026, but reservations for the car will start in 2024.

This is one beautiful car! Too bad Tesla could not figure out how to design this type of a front grill.
