Dutch car maker Donkervoort has finally revealed its D8 GTO production vehicle, the next generation of open sports car, which was based on the original Lotus Seven. After two and a half years of development and collaboration with Audi Quattro GmbH, the D8 GTO’s production will start in 2012 and expected to be on European roads by 2013.

Each vehicle in the Iconic Sports Car series comes in three different scales with the option of traditional gold, white gold, silver, and other luxury finishes available.

One such tuner is Onyx, which has just announced an update to its GTO Package promising a horsepower bump to 660-hp (over the factory 550-hp) while freshening up the aesthetics to rival the 2012 Continental facelift.

Trans Am Depot is outfitting the new Camaro with a Pontiac conversion kit, turning the Camaro into the a modern GTO Judge. Trans Am Depot’s work is called the “6T9 Goat” because of messy copyright issues. The car will come with a bespoke front end with its own split grille as well as a revised hood with air scoops, a new tail lamp, a restyled trunk with a small rear wing, quad tail pipes, and new alloy rims complete the look. This kit car may not appeal to everyone however if you are a fan of the 1969 GTO Judge, a modern day version of the car will soon be available.
