Nissan chronicles the Z sports car through six generations of Canadian owners.

While it may seem that automakers are focusing more on fuel efficiency than performance these days, cars are actually getting quicker.

Nissan has finally officially teased the next-generation Z-car, likely to be called 400Z.

Finally, Nissan has graced its Z car with an updated and exciting powerplant. Making its debut at the 2018 SEMA show in Las Vegas is the Nissan Motorsports Project Clubsport 23 project car with a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 under the hood.

Earlier this year, Nissan told AutoGuide in an interview that it wasn’t abandoning the ‘Z’ nameplate and that a next-generation Z sports car was something they were “studying and working through.”

Nissan is working on a next-generation Z coupe that will be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

Despite its advanced age the 370Z still has a place in Nissan’s lineup.

The Nissan 370Z could be the last-ever two-door Z coupe, if remarks by Nissan’s product planning boss Phillipe Klein are any indication.

Nissan may be hitting  home runs with Millennials, but the brand’s enthusiast fanbase may not be feeling the love, as the automaker trotted out another iteration of the stale 370Z at this year’s New York Auto Show.

The 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition will make its debut at the New York Auto Show next week.
