Following a massive price cut last year, Nissan has kept things steady this year for its electric Leaf.

Steve Marsh, a Nissan Leaf owner in Washington, has racked up 100,000 all-electric miles in the Japanese electric car. 

According to a recent report, Chevrolet Volt owners are driving more electric-only miles than owners of the fully-electric Nissan Leaf.

Nissan is currently testing its new “Vehicle-to-Building” technology, which allows up to six Nissan Leaf electric vehicles to be connected to and provide electricity to a building’s power distribution board.

The Nissan Leaf will be the first vehicle in Japan to be tested on public roads with an Advanced Driver Assist System.

The 2014 Rogue, Versa Note and Leaf will be the first vehicles from the Japanese automaker to receive iTunes Radio, where Nissan will enjoy exclusive advertising rights through 2013.

Nissan is adding a new vehicle to the ranks of its certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle program, the all-electric Leaf.

Nissan is testing a new battery pack for its Leaf electric car that the brand says can perform the same as the current battery when exposed to sustained high-heat conditions. 

Nissan is still betting big on electric vehicles with plans to expand its Global EV portfolio to five vehicles.
