We’re all familiar with the Smart ForTwo, which is a polarizing vehicle to say the least, but initial impressions of their newest concept, the Forspeed EV Roadster, which debuted at the Geneva Auto Show, are all lining up in one direction, and it’s not exactly positive.

The long rumored Hyundai Sonata station wagon exists, and it bowed at the Geneva Auto Show, dubbed the Hyundai i40 Tourer, in keeping with the brand’s European nomenclature.

Giorgetto Giuigiaro and design studio Italdesign have given us a glimpse of two Volkswagen concepts set to debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

Europe is getting the Grand Cherokee with a diesel as well as special 70th anniversary editions, as Jeep will announce at the Geneva Auto Show in a week’s time.

North Americans only received the small Golf-based A3 hatchback a few years ago, but Audi is planning to expand the lineup with a fastback four-door sedan at the Geneva Auto Show packing 400+ horsepower and quattro AWD.

The Forspeed concept is Smart‘s interpretation of a zero-emissions roadster, based on the only vehicle Smart currently builds: its Fortwo city car.

Volkswagen has unveiled its new Tiguan ahead of its Geneva debut in March. The small SUV gets new front end styling that brings it in line with the rest of the new Volkswagen lineup.

The Tiguan also gets three new engines in Europe, for a total of seven: four gasoline engines and three diesels, including the BlueMotion engines that now get stop/start technology for further fuel savings. The Tiguan will come with a seven-speed DSG gearbox as an option

Inside and out, the Tiguan can now be ordered with two trim levels that VW optimistically calls “Track and Style” and “Sport and Style,” aimed at on-road and off-road driving, respectively. On the technology front VW is pulling no punches by adding fatigue detection, Lane Assist, and perhaps most importantly, the XDS electric differential lock.

Germans can already order the Tiguan now, at a price of 24,175 Euros. The rest of Europe can take delivery in August, and North Americans will see the new Tiguan afterwards, when VW announces a release date for us.

Famed design house Bertone, of Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo fame, has given Jaguar a hint of Italian flair with the B 99 concept. Slated to be unveiled at Geneva, advance pictures have leaked and given us an idea of what it’ll look like.

The B 99 is what Bertone believes a modern Jaguar should look like, complementing the dramatic lines of the XF and new XJ, with a long, flowing hood and arrow-straight lines. The leaping cat is back in its rightful place on the hood as well, and the ovoid grille suggests the XK and its sporting ancestors.

Rumors from Coventry suggest that Jaguar is preparing a rival to the BMW 3-Series, and while there’s not much known about the extent of the collaboration between Bertone and Jaguar, this could foreshadow that upcoming car.

No, the troubled Italian company, constantly flirting with bankruptcy and liquidation and angry customers, has introduced for Geneva the SLC, a Pininfarina-designed crossover in the mold of the BMW 5-Series GT.

StarTech, a division of Brabus, is bringing performance and design options for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles this side of the Atlantic. And if parent company Brabus is any indication, the results will be wild.

Nissan will show their ESFLOW electric car concept at the Geneva Auto Show, a vehicle that has more in common with the Tesla Roadster than Nissan’s compact Leaf EV.

Hamann plans to make quite the splash at the Geneva Motor Show, announcing that they’ll be revealing a new widebody Porsche Cayenne and widebody Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in early March.

Wiesmann will be bringing four new models to the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, all packing more punch than its previous renditions. The GT MF4 Coupe, GT MF5 Coupe, Roadster MF4 and Roadster MF5 will now sport BMW’s 4.4L V8 twin-turbo powerplant underneath the hood.
