The Porsche 911 lineup is growing, and testing is on-going of all the different variants that will soon be available. We recently saw spy photos of the Carrera 4S, and now, a Porsche 911 Targa edition has been glimpsed testing.

While it looks like a regular convertible, that is merely a clever disguise for the Targa style roof, revealed by the removable center roof sections and roll bar that are visible in the photos. Like the Targa 911 models from 1965 to 1994, the roof style is more than a hardtop or ragtop, it features a removable roof section.

With all of the other variants of 911 coming down the pipe, this is the first one that looks to retrieve some of the retro style from old 911’s.
