Next month, BMW will unveil its updated lineup of law enforcement vehicles at the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC) in Leipzig, Germany, but to hold us over, the German automaker has released photos of its 2013 BMW 7-Series High Security along with its updated X3 and 5-Series models.

The X3 is a new addition to the German automaker’s lineup of security vehicles and law enforcement agencies can opt for iDrive-controlled warning lights, LED identification lights, and sirens straight from the factory. The 7-Series High Security also gets updated for the 2013 model year and is the first security sedan in the world that is fully VR7 compliant.

That won’t be all BMW will be showing off next month though. Joining the updated 5-Series, X3, and 7-Series High Security will be a 3-Series Sports Wagon, X5 Security armored SUV, and an i3-based security car. The electric i3 will target short distance driving areas such as airports and police patrols.
