2013 Ford Transit Connect: Transit Connect provides a highly configurable interior, generous cargo space, easy loading and unloading, and exceptional maneuverability.

Ford is recalling 16,330 Transit Connect vehicles for inadequately attached wiper blades.

Over time the rivet can work its way loose, resulting in incomplete or inconsistent clearing of the windshield. There is also a possibility that the blades may fully detach, which would leave the car without any windshield clearing capability.

Ford will contact affected owners and replace both passenger and driver side windshield wipers free of charge.

For more info, you can contact Ford at (866) 436-7332 or the NHTSA safety hotline at (888) 327-4236.
