Only a day after Jaguar suffered the automotive equivalent of a “nip-slip,” the brand seems to be back on its feet behaving much like a cat does after an embarrassing moment – as if nothing happened.

The car, an image of which leaked yesterday, is back under cover in a clip the brand probably had planned to hype its official debut next week during the Paris Motor Show. Nevertheless, the video does deliver something new – an earful of its roaring exhaust.

At its base level, the car comes equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 pumping out 380 hp although the F-Type R will boost that figure to 550 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque thanks to a supercharged 5.0-liter V8.

Jaguar doesn’t divulge which engine the car shown is using, but it sounds like the V6.
