Mazda has renewed its agreement with Experian Automotive, and the Japanese automaker has designated AutoCheck as the exclusive vehicle history report for its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle program.

But Mazda has also decided to make its CPO program more appealing by offering a three-year AutoCheck Buyback Protection program. According to the Japanese automaker, “AutoCheck Buyback Protection is available at no extra cost on AutoCheck vehicle history reports if a certain title brand is found after the vehicle is reported to be free of the brand.” Customers will be covered for what they paid for the vehicle – up to 110 percent of the NADAguides.com published retail value – and even up to $500 coverage in aftermarket accessories.

All Mazda dealerships will offer the AutoCheck report on its CPO vehicles in North America to help customers compare and shop for the right vehicle more easily.

“The AutoCheck Buyback Protection Program will further instill buying confidence in our customers who are looking to purchase a reliable and affordable certified pre-owned Mazda vehicle,” said Ron Stettner, vice president, U.S. sales operations, Mazda North American Operations. “AutoCheck vehicle history reports provide a level of detail that will help build more trust between retailers and customers. We look forward to showing our customers that we are dedicated to their satisfaction.”
