Heading to this year’s Paris Motor Show is a zero-emission, fuel cell electric vehicle concept by Nissan dubbed ‘TeRRA’. Photos of the futuristic-looking crossover has leaked ahead of its debut, giving us a glimpse of what the Japanese automaker is currently working on.

Like most pre-unveiling leaks, no details of the vehicle accompany the photos, but this could be a future Xterra replacement that we’re looking at. The front-end styling blends a bit of Nissan’s SUVs and crossovers, including the Juke and Rogue, while the rest of the body is a much sleeker take on the current production Xterra model.

Undoubtedly though, much like what GM is doing with its heavily-invested Volt, Nissan is finding other markets to take advantage of its Leaf technology in order to help recover the investment costs into its EV. We’ll be sure to report more when the TeRRA Concept becomes official at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
