It’s getting harder and harder to keep a car under wraps these days, with even more images of the upcoming Toyota RAV4 hitting the internet prematurely, following a few shots that emerged yesterday.

This new batch of seven photos reveals a lot of the new design elements of the RAV4. While the images aren’t the best quality, it is still obvious that the RAV4 is receiving a major update both inside and out.

The exterior looks a bit sharper, and more in-line with the current design language of Toyota’s cars, like the updated Camry and Corolla. The headlights and tail-lights in particular sport these new brand identity design cues.

Inside is where the RAV4 gets its biggest update, with a friendlier interior which sports a few more luxuries and an infotainment system which appears to be based on Toyota’s new Entune setup.

Exterior shots also clearly show the RAV4 sporting AWD badges, meaning that the compact crossover will not be losing its AWD drivetrain.

The final question remaining about the RAV4 involves the vehicles engines options. Will Toyota continue to offer the RAV4 with a V6 engine, or will it run exclusively with four-cylinders?

Keep a close eye on RAV4 news this week as the vehicle is expected to be officially unveiled at the L.A. Auto Show.
