2013 Maserati Quattroporte Goes Late Night Testing – Video

For the first time in Maserati’s history, the Italian automaker has released a video of it testing a new car without camouflage.

The new 2013 Quattroporte is Maserati’s newest flagship and the automaker wanted to share the hard work it put into testing the new vehicle. It took the sedan out to Balocco Proving Ground with Chief Test Driver Fabrizio Galvan behind the wheel.

Engine options for the 2013 Quattroporte include a 3.0-liter V6 (404 hp, 406 lb-ft of torque) and a 3.8-liter V8 (523 hp, 524 lb-ft of torque), both equipped with twin turbos. Both are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2013 Quattroporte will be heading to the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, where AutoGuide will be reporting live with photos of the vehicle.
