Rinspeed calls itself a “Swiss car visionary” and each year at the Geneva Motor Show, it proves its point.

This year, Rinspeed will be heading to Geneva with its microMAX creation, a vehicle that the company says “intends to revolutionize urban traffic.” The idea behind the microMAX was to merge personal and public transportation in an all-electric vehicle in an inviting way.

According to Rinspeed, the vehicle is about 12 feet in length and offers plenty of space for a driver, three passengers, and a stroller or shopping cart – though here in America it would be quite illegal to have a shopping cart in your car. The interior features upright seats and a sense of spaciousness with a lounge feel; there’s even a coffee maker and fridge inside.

“Because, even though ‘microMAX’ can be ‘your taxi’ or ‘your bus’ every now and then, the short four-wheeled friend first and foremost wants to be one thing: your car,” describes Rinspeed in a release.
