Jaguar has announced its 2013 schedule for its Performance Driving Academy, which will make five stops throughout the U.S. this year.

Promising one-on-one time with professional drivers and substantial on-track time, the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy will offer basic and advanced courses to Jaguar owners and racing enthusiasts. Customers will be able to get behind the wheel of the XFR, XKR, and XJ Supersport in a full-day driving curriculum.

The basic course is available for free with a purchase of a new XFR, XFR-S, XKR, XKR-S, or XJ Supersport or for $1,850 for non-Jaguar owners. The advanced course costs $2,495 for any participant. The advanced course builds on the basic course by adding maximum braking exercises, individual corner practice, skidpad manuevers, handling oval, and low-speed handling course.

The Jaguar Performance Driving Academy will make its first stop on February 14 through 17 at Circuit of the Americas in Texas, before it heads off to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on April 24 through 28. Next on the schedule will be a stop at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California from July 27 through 29, before the Academy returns again to Las Vegas Motor Speedway from October 10 through 13. The final stop on the schedule is Homestead Miami Speedway on December 11 through 14.

“We’re thrilled to be offering another season of our Jaguar Performance Driving Academy,” Andy Goss, President, Jaguar Land Rover North America said. “With the recent introduction of the Jaguar XFR-S and the upcoming launch of the F-Type, the brand continues its lineage of high performance vehicles, and the Performance Driving Academy allows customers and enthusiasts to enjoy the full potential and power of these vehicles in an exhilarating and educational manner.”
