The first thing anyone notices about a car is its paint color, which is why it’s so important for a new brand like SRT to get it right.

To the average car owner, shades of paint could just be considered black, white, red, silver. Outrageous colors such as yellow or green won’t even make it onto their radar. But SRT vehicles aren’t for the average car owner, which means the average paint shade just doesn’t do the job. The American automaker has released a video featuring Jim Parker, Head of Exterior Color at SRT, which explains the processes SRT uses to determine what hues will make it on the vehicles.
