Fiat’s dominion over Chrysler will soon send another Italian product to North America.

Ram president and CEO Reid Bigland said today that a Ram Promaster branded version of the Fiat Doblo van will arrive in North America in 18 to 24 months. In other words, the vans should be here by the end of the year.

The vans will be be sold in both the U.S. and Canada and production will begin in the second half of the year.

According to Tofas, the Turkish automaker that builds the Doblo, roughly 175,000 of the facelifted vans are expected to reach North America between 2014 and 2021.
