Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 Priced in Europe

Mercedes-Benz has announced German pricing for what boils down to one of the world’s best super-villain cars.

The G63 AMG 6×6 will cost €451,010 when it goes on sale in Germany and there will only be between 20 and 30 produced. It’s difficult to imagine anyone other than Gru and Dr. Nefario of Despicable Me or maybe Dr. Evil driving one of these, but if you can afford it, there isn’t much that even comes close.

The price translates to roughly $608,000, nebulous as it may be to directly translate any European car price. For that cash, Germans get an absolutely insane off-road machine. The car has five locking differentials and low range gearing to crawl over obstacles and even air pressure control for the 37-inch tires. It also has 18.1 inches of ground clearance and weighs 8,322 lbs.

Despite that, the truck’s 5.5-liter biturbo V8 has 536 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque to hit 60 mph in under six seconds, all while dispensing of its gasoline reserves at a rate even the oil sheiks who actually buy these might be disturbed by.

The usual rear bench seat is swapped for two sport seats, but the cabin is otherwise standard high-end Mercedes fare. Polished bamboo wood lines the truck bed, which can carry up to a 1,433-lb payload if you have the courage risk scratching it.
