As Ford strives to become a leader in fuel efficiency, the American automaker plans to integrate start-stop technology across its lineup.

This past week at the 2013 LA Auto Show, Ford debuted a 2015 Edge concept that featured start-stop technology. Though it didn’t give a time frame, the American automaker did announce that it plans on performing an aggressive rollout to all its major products.

With the Ford F-150 being its best-selling model, don’t be surprised to see the start-stop technology find its way to the pickup sooner than later. Ram currently offers a version of the system on several of its models. Currently, Ford’s start-stop technology is only found on the 2013 Fusion and is a $295 option.
