The custom Carbon Motors E7 police cruiser starring in the upcoming Robocop movie will be auctioned off on January 23.

The Carbon Motors E7 was built from the ground up as a police cruiser, powered by a twin-turbo six-cylinder diesel engine that accelerates to 60 mph from a standstill in 6.5 seconds. By surveying thousands of law enforcement officers, Carbon Motors incorporated their feedback into the vehicle’s design which includes cutaway seats, rear-hinged seats for safer suspect insertion, a secure and fully hose washable rear compartment, integrated rifle and shotgun mounts and even built-in cup warmers.

According to Carbon Motors, the company has received reservations for over 20,000 cars including every U.S. state and dozens of foreign countries.

" ... According to Carbon Motors, the company has received reservations for over 20,000 cars including every U.S. state and dozens of foreign countries. ..." It should be pointed out that Carbon Motors has closed, as of ~ April 2013... so I doubt any of the 20,000 reservations will be met.
