Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation 3 received an update today, adding several new cars and races to the game.

The latest update adds the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series, which is an alternative version of the concept released in December and seen at the 2013 L.A. Auto Show. Players are able to obtain the vehicle through a new seasonal event and will be available only for a limited time. In addition, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Gran Turismo Concept, which was shown at the 2013 SEMA Show, is available in the dealership in the game but can also be won in a Seasonal Event. The Corvette is also available for a limited time.

The game has also added a birthday login bonus that gives players an in-game car from a year near your birth year as a gift. A remove ghost reply feature has been added to the arcade mode, time trial and free run quick menu while prize information from seasonal events can now be viewed.
