2014 Ford Transit Connect Gets 30 MPG

Ford has announced that the 2014 Transit Connect Van has received an EPA-estimated 30 mpg highway rating.

Powered by a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine, the Ford Transit Connect Van gets 22 mpg on the highway, giving it an overall combined rating of 25 mpg. The EcoBoost engine provides 178 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque and the American automaker boasts that it has best-in-class capability with 130.6 cubic feet of cargo space and towing capacity of 2,000 lbs.

The 2014 Ford Transit Connect Van will be priced from $22,995 including destination with the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Those that want the EcoBoost powerplant will pay $23,790. The standard Transit Connect Van is rated at 21-mpg city and 29-mpg highway.
