Land Rover will be extending the Autobiography nameplate to its 2015 Range Rover Evoque model, debuting the more luxurious trim level alongside a higher-performance Dynamic model at the Geneva Motor Show.

While the Autobiography version will be available as a unique model, the sportier version comes equipped with both packages and one very long name: the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic. It will feature 281 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, a healthy increase of 44 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque compared to the factory model. It will still retain the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is mated to a nine-speed ZF transmission.

Coming standard on the Autobiography Dynamic model will be the brand’s active driveline, which is available as an option on all Range Rover Evoque variants. Active driveline is one of the world’s first four-wheel-drive systems of its kind, improving traction, enhancing agility and improving fuel efficiency by engaging four-wheel drive seamlessly and automatically only when required.

In addition, the steering of the special model has been tuned for additional on-center precision, while the chassis sports upgraded suspension geometry, firmer spring rates and recalibrated adaptive dampers. The front brake discs have also grown in size while Torque Vectoring by Braking is standard.

On the outside, the British automaker has added a new premium grille design, lower front valence, jewel-like headlights and taillights while 20-inch wheels finish off the aesthetics.

The 2015 Evoque will also introduce the brand’s new InControl Apps system, marking the brand’s next step forward in in-car technology.

“The Range Rover Evoque has been an enormous success in the UK with its blend of bold design, luxury and compact versatility,” said Jaguar Land Rover UK Managing Director, Jeremy Hicks. “Demand remains strong two years after the start of production, and with the introduction of the Autobiography Dynamic, customers have more choice and access to a new heightened level of agility.”
