The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has put two more vehicles through its crash tests, and they both came out on top.

2014 Toyota Highlander

The 2014 Mazda3 along with the Toyota Highlander have both received five stars, which is the top score a vehicle can be given. Hatchback and sedan models of the 3 both receive top marks, while the hybrid version of the Highlander does as well.

In the frontal and side-impact tests, the Mazda3 received five stars, while the rollover test garnered just four stars. The Highlander fared slightly worse, getting four stars in both the front impact and rollover tests, but five stars in side impact tests.
