Chevrolet‘s best-selling car is getting an update and those attending the 2014 New York Auto Show will be able to check it out.

The 2015 Cruze has been revealed ahead of the vehicle’s debut in New York, sporting refreshed styling and new technologies such as Text Message Alerts, Apple Siri integration and OnStar 4G LTE with available WiFi hotspot. The exterior styling, according to the American automaker, has been inspired by the new Impala and restyled 2014 Malibu while the interior receives more intuitive controls and convenience.

Updates to the interior include revised cupholders that make it easier to insert and remove cups, the trunk release has been relocated to the center console and the door lock switches have been moved from the center console to the front doors. The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze lineup will include the LS, LT, RS, LTZ, Cruze Eco and Cruze Diesel models. The Cruze Eco is rated at 42-mpg highway while the Cruze Diesel is the most efficient non-hybrid passenger car in America with an EPA-estimated 46 mpg on the highway.

“We’ve simply made a great, versatile car even better,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet director of passenger car and crossover marketing. “Chevrolet continues to design, build and sell the most compelling small cars in its history and the 2015 Cruze offers more of the features, connectivity and efficiency that are important to today’s customers.”

Fixing the cup holders is a great start, but did they make the seats more comfortable? I'm looking forward to the day I can buy another vehicle, because I'm tired of sitting on the concrete that they call seats in my 2012, and so is my behind.
