Volkswagen GTI Roadster Concept Video, First Look
No, this isn’t a picture from your Gran Turismo video game – it was taken right at the 2014 LA Auto Show floor, where the Volkswagen GTI Roadster made its North American debut.
This crazy looking roofless concept is currently available in the Playstation game, and that’s the only way you’ll be able to get it, as the company just won’t make something this radical for the road. And that’s a huge shame, as the car is packing a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that makes over 500 horsepower. Weighing in at around 3,100 lbs this car can hit 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

While this car won’t be heading into production, Volkswagen is saying that the car will influence future styling. We’ll have to see it to believe it.
