Toyota Teases Mysterious RND Concept

Toyota has teased a shadowy concept vehicle called the RND. Almost nothing is known about the car at this point but we should be able to share a lot more on January 26 when it’s revealed in the United Kingdom.

One thing we can say is that supposedly this vehicle is more than just some pie-in-the-sky design study; apparently it’s production ready. Aside from this very ambiguous photo we know nothing else. Is this a shot of a tail lamp? Could it be part of the grille? Are we looking at a door handle? You guesses are as good (or bad) as ours.

What is known about this car is that it’s supposed to appeal to the “widest possible market,” which sounds like a new entry-level product. That means it probably won’t be a sports car or something from Lexus.

What do you think the Toyota RND concept will be? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for the January 26 reveal.
