Mercedes-AMG is teasing its next model.

Promising that something “fast” is coming, Mercedes-AMG has released a new teaser video of a car tearing up the track. The German automaker only gives us an exhaust note to go off of, but if we had to guess, it is likely the C63 AMG coupe being teased. With the sedan model having already debuted, spy photographers have caught the coupe variant testing with aggressive styling and offering shoppers a viable option if they want to seat four in a two-door coupe.

It may seem that the C63 AMG coupe will just be the same as the sedan minus two doors, that’s far from the case. One could even argue that the C63 AMG coupe will be closer to the new AMG GT than it is to its sedan counterpart, considering it’ll have wider fenders and a sportier profile. Powering the upcoming model is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that makes 469 hp in standard form and 503 hp in the C63 S.

The model is expected to make its debut this fall before going on sale early next year. Now, we could totally be wrong and Mercedes-AMG can be teasing something else – like an AMG GT Black Series model – at which point, we hope we are wrong and the German automaker everyone us a surprise.
